Wholesome No-Guilt Chocolate Bar

Desserts and snacks are my biggest flaw and weakness. Be it chocolates, cakes, cookies or biscuits, I always have one in my bag to perk me up in the midst of a busy schedule. But one thing I always wonder - when can I stop feeling guilty and bad about finishing my sweet bite?

Do you feel awful and horrible and bad for finishing that kit-kat or that mars bar? I always do. No more sweat though - in my recent travel to Australia, we missed our flight (a blessing in disguise) and ended up stealing some time to visit our good friends from Brisbane. Alice, who is known as @aliceinhealthyland, is also a beautiful mother of Cruze, created the best chocolate recipe in the world. The Balcon family taught us real quick on how a wicked good dessert existed in this world!

This, I promise you. Guilt-free. Dessert. Yum. Mmm.

DARK COCO-NUT CHOCOLATE BAR

Crunchy, nutty and a hint of salt with the 100% pure cocoa chocolate. It is easy to make, no fuss and mess, just a short wait for it to freeze and there you go - a chocolate bar that could actually be guilt-free AND carry an amount of good nutrients and benefits for your body! 

Do note* Cacao powder and cocoa powder are similar. It may be alittle harder to get cacao powder off the shelves as I have tried finding it and it is almost impossible. Hence, if you want to try this but not go through the hassle of ordering online, buy cocoa powder UNSWEETENED. The difference isn't significant.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 juicy red apple
- a handful roasted almonds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons of greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon powder (for sprinkle)


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash and cut up the apples into thin slices
2. Scoop the greek yogurt on top of the apples
3. Add chia seeds, almonds on top of the yogurt
4. Sprinkle cinnamon powder on top of the dish
